There’s a new beauty retalier in town- Bluemercury #2 Maryland Plaza 63108 held their Grand Opening last weekend! This iconic shop is known for their curated selection- big names like NARS, Trish McEvoy, Caudalie & Kiehl’s. The St. Louis location also includes Bluemercury exclusive brands like their best selling M-61 Skincare and cosmetics line Lune+Aster. The best part? Their super helpful, knowledgeable staff will make you a sample of literally ANYTHING in the store. Bluemercury would prefer their customers walk out with lots of samples to try at home, rather than purchase a product and not be 100% satisfied.
I was lucky enough to be shown around by store manager, Carla Keller. (Ladies, if you’re looking for someone fab to do your face for upcoming holiday parties, she’s your gal!) Carla introduced me to all the amazing features Bluemercury has to offer- A spa! Vegan & animal cruelty free product lines! Then she did a quick face for me, I asked for a natural, daytime look. Carla patiently answered my many skincare questions and had good recommendations on some lines to try. And yes, before I left, she made sure I had a bag of samples!
Two products I chose:
- Trish McEvoy “Instant Solutions Beauty Balm”; I have been reading about this miracle product and really wanted to try it. This BB does soo much for your skin- SPF 35, provides coverage, blurs imperfections, minimizes shine, treats and moisturizes. So far, I love it!
- Caudalie “Vinosource Creme Sorbet Hydrante”; This lightweight, moisturizing cream is made for sensitive skin. I am obsessed with the texture and perfect amount of hydration it gives my face.
