A new year found me visiting a new shop! Roadside Runway Boutique-11219 Manchester Ave 63122 opened it’s doors in Kirkwood at the beginning of November. Owner Jenny Holmes has stocked her darling store with on-trend apparel, accessories and small home goods. If you’re looking for something fresh and chic, this is the place! When I popped in, I found a great selection of tops and dresses. You know I couldn’t resist that leopard print! I also really liked the balance of casual vs. dressy options, or pieces that can be worn both ways. Holmes knows her style and is thrilled to be setting up shop in her hometown after a few years living in KC. “After the birth of my daughter, I really wanted to move back home to Kirkwood,” she said. Interestingly, Roadside Runway started as a mobile fashion truck, but after relocating, Holmes decided to rebrand as a brick and mortar spot. St. Louis shoppers will be glad she did!
